Motion Content

While working with UCLA and other organizations, I’ve had the opportunity to develop foundational skills in animation, using programs like Adobe After Effects and Blender. These tools have expanded my creative toolkit, allowing me to bring motion and depth to my content and elevate the storytelling experience.

National Signing Day for Instagram

My role in this National Signing Day motion graphic was the opening motion content prior to their intro video. I used Adobe After Effects and Photoshop to combine a bunch of moving elements to introduce their new signing class.

Recruiting Motion Graphic

One of my main roles for UCLA Women’s Basketball is to create deliverables for the best recruits in the country. This is one we sent out on June 1st, the first day coaches can contact them.

Big Time Softball Educational Post

This motion graphic was one of my firsts, working with Adobe Photoshop layers in Adobe After Effects to make an engaging and informational instagram post on their page.

UCLA Lego Animation Project

One of my favorite projects to date is the UCLA Lego animation video. A creative and memorable piece that marked my first experience working with 3D animation tools. The goal was to showcase where each coach on staff would be recruiting during the summer, and I pitched the idea of using Legos to bring the concept to life. Working as part of a three-person team, I was responsible for building the 3D Lego sets in Mecabricks and animating the scenes in Blender. It was a fun, hands on learning experience that taught me a lot and inspired future creative projects.

A Lego character wearing a UCLA basketball shirt and cap stands next to an image of a virtual set design using Mecabricks, displaying palm trees, umbrellas, and a beach. Another section shows animation work done with Blender, featuring colorful Lego-like blocks and a character. Text: 'Set Design with Mecabricks' and 'Animation with Blender.'
